I here testify that I arrived at Diamonds in the month of March 2023. My stay in Diamonds was smooth all along. Learning has been productive and educational to me as well as my friends. I have learned how to manage my stress, depression etc. During my stay here I have learned how to manage my finances through a financial session that we had during our classes. Above all, it is sobriety that I have practised and I hope to maintain it all my life. Also, my Spiritual life in Diamonds has been a key thing and a habit of praying each morning. For that, I recommend other people who need help to recover from addiction to seek help from Diamonds Refined Recovery Center

Right now I have no doubt that I will live a drug-free life. I feel that my life has been saved. I have had the chance to make new friends. It has been a well-spent time, I know that God will not let me fall. I feel happier and would definitely recommend Diamonds to anyone who needs treatment. I have also gotten skills to cope with life.

It is with great appreciation that I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the hospitality and ample time I have experienced during my stay at Diamonds. For so many times I have tried to quit alcoholism with no tangible results. However, during the program, I have been enlightened that it's not only willpower but the coping skills that one needs in order to achieve greater success in the sobriety journey. It is for this reason that one is able to live an alcohol-free lifestyle deal with problems that are underlying and look ahead with great optimism for a brighter future. Thank you for the wonderful facility because the serenity is on a whole new level, plus the competent staff have all been practising ethics that ought to be emulated. With deepest appreciation!

As I'm writing this, I believe it's my last day at Diamonds. After living in denial for about two years, it is here that I accepted defeat over drugs and my life and sought help. I did not know why I behaved like I did before, for how long I could continue living that way, or what would change my mind or whether I would ever learn from my mistakes. I can happily admit that I now know why. Many thanks to the psychoeducation classes and therapy sessions offered here. I know my triggers. I know who I am. I know my goals, dreams, values and boundaries, and I know how to protect, nurture and validate them (AA pg. 327) Resentment, honesty, and self-pity are some of the shortcomings that I have dealt with while at Diamonds. It’s the camaraderie, the tranquillity, the austerity and the serenity at Diamonds that have contributed to the unimaginable balance I'm feeling right now. The enthusiasm to see what the future holds. Sharing my story with my peers and hearing other people’s stories has given me a different perspective on life. That, not everything is as good or as bad as it seems, nothing is really new in this world and that I can handle anything. I have experienced moments of anxiety and loneliness coupled with doubts of lethargy but having people to talk to has helped me to soldier on up to this point. I've had fun talking to fellow addicts in recovery, making jokes about our own situations and experiences, and participating in games. I will surely miss listening to these stories, laughing about them, learning from them and being able to help where I can. This almost makes me sound like I want to come back but that is not the case. Nijikute! My Spirituality keeps growing stronger each day owing to daily morning devotions, the 12-step programme and therapy sessions. I know that the cynical obstinacy to control everything is a recipe for disaster in recovery. Weekly AA meetings facilitated by the Diamonds administration in conjunction with Facilitator Ken came in handy. They keep me grounded and I should always rely on the program to maintain sobriety. I will keep coming back. I am more prayerful to my ‘Higher Power| who is God and when God talks to me is meditation, not Schizophrenia.
